In the latest of a series of awards for Clipper’s innovative Click & Collect solution with The John Lewis Partnership, the businesses have been honoured in the Retail and E-tail category at the Supply Chain Excellence Awards.
In the fourth win since September, the award recognises the innovative and efficient Click & Collect delivery service that Clipper have developed alongside the retailer. The industry leading solution was designed in order to provide a retail focused flexible, cost effective, fast and reliable delivery and provide the efficient management of returns to meet the evolving demands of the retail sector.
Clipper’s Chief Executive, Tony Mannix said: “We worked alongside John Lewis to offer something that is truly built around the customer. Our expertise and industry knowledge has allowed us to provide a Click & Collect service that meets the increasing demands of modern shoppers, and having this recognised and celebrated once again is wonderful. We’re excited about the future of this service and the new partnership opportunities it’s opening up.”
The Click & Collect solution, which was launched in late 2015, supported John Lewis during peak trading last Christmas. Clipper worked closely with the John Lewis team to develop this service, working at all stages of the supply chain to ensure a smooth and efficient process. The solution is now being offered to other retailers to support their Click & Collect requirement.
