Double Success At SHD Logistics Awards

Clipper Logistics plc has achived double success at this year’s SHD logistics Awards, including scooping the accolade for ‘Overall Winner’. The two award were presented in recognition of the innovative Retail Focussed Click & Collect solution developed by Clipper / John Lewis  which has helped to revolutionise the delivery process, and provide a class leading service proposition.

The ceremony brought together leading names in UK and European logistics, retail and supply chain, and celebrated the cream of the industry across 11 categories. The Clipper & John Lewis project beat stiff competition to pick up the Innovation Award early in the evening. The event culminated in the announcement of the Overall Winner, which also went to the Clipper / John Lewis team.

The award-winning project is an innovative, end-to-end, fully-tracked, next-day delivery service for click & collect orders, and was developed by Clipper Logistics, working alongside John Lewis. The solution was designed to be fully scalable, and is able to accommodate Click & Collect requirements from a broad range of retailers.

Clipper provides a range of pre and post retail support for some of the biggest names in the industry. Their click  and collect solution was launched in late 2015 and has gone from strength to strength during that time, alongside other areas of business focus, such as Clipper’s bespoke returns management solution – Boomerang™.
