Leading high-value and retail logistics specialist, Clipper Logistics, has secured a major new e-fulfilment contract with top Swedish children’s designer clothing retailer, Polarn O. Pyret.
Polarn O. Every garment is specifically designed with children in mind, with no compromise on quality, design or function.
The company’s expansion has seen the establishment of more than 100 stores in 11 markets including the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Finland, and the USA. Polarn O. Pyret offers online retail to its consumers in the UK, Ireland, United States and in Sweden as well as operating nine stores in the UK and supplying customers including House of Fraser and John Lewis.

Mats Nilsson, Managing Director at Polarn O.Pyret, said: ”We’ve experienced significant growth in recent years and the time has come for us to work in conjunction with an experienced retail logistics partner. Clipper was the ideal choice due to its team’s experience in e-fulfilment including growth strategies and we look forward to further growth in the coming months and years. We are really happy with the impact of migration to Clipper already”
Clipper is providing Polarn O. Pyret with a dedicated, reliable and robust e-fulfilment service from its Ollerton e-fulfilment centre of excellence, which can support new delivery streams as well as offering significant increases in stockholding and picking accuracy. The contract also includes a bespoke warehouse configuration, which will allow expansion of the current product range, and will also offer store replenishment in its second phase, reducing the lead time of stock from Sweden.
The contract with Polarn O. Pyret will see Clipper housing an estimated 5500 SKUs and fulfilling customer orders for the UK and Ireland, and the solution utilises different storage options to suit the nature and volumes of specific ranges.
Sean Fahey, Solutions Director at Clipper, commented: “We’re delighted to have secured this contact with such a well-loved, innovative and respected designer brand and it highlights the increasing trend of retailers either launching or expanding their online presence and seeing rapid, large-scale expansion of their business as a result. We are looking forward to working with Polarn O. Pyret on their ambitious growth strategy and assisting them with all their logistics requirements.”
The transition to Clipper has been a seamless integration that has already provided immediate benefits to PO.P’s e-fulfilment accuracy throughput.”
