Clipper Future Forum Focuses On Port Deconsolidation In Retail Logistics

Following the success of the first event in the series, Clipper is pleased to announce its second Future Forum, which will overview the benefits of Port Deconsolidation for retailers.

With its unrivalled fashion and high value retail logistics expertise, Clipper has an impressive client list which includes the UK’s major multiples and high street retail brands, including Asda, John Lewis, Harvey Nichols, Liberty, Morrisons, George, Tesco, New Look and Whistles.

Clipper understands the challenges and opportunities of the retail supply chain – particularly that of Port Deconsolidation – and has chosen this as the subject to both enlighten and engage retail professionals with a debate focusing on the challenges, risks and opportunities in the world of retail logistics.

Speakers include Tony Mannix from Clipper, Ian Stansfield, distribution director at Asda, Geoff Lippitt from PD Ports and Clyde Buntrock from Allport.
The event will be held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Leeds on Thursday 19th April from 1pm – 5.15pm, followed by a drinks reception and networking, and will be attended by delegates from some of the UK’s leading retailers, including M&S, Liberty, Tesco and Morrisons.

Tony Mannix, managing director at Clipper said: “Port deconsolidation represents a major opportunity for retail businesses of all sizes – including established players and those new to import and export.

“We hope the forum will provide not only a great networking opportunity for our fellow retail professionals, but also generate an afternoon of stimulating debate, which will explore effective strategies for both avoiding common pitfalls and ensuring success.”
