Clipper and ASOS in awards success for bridal wear returns

Clipper Logistics plc is pleased to announce that it has won in the Reverse Logistics Category at the Supply Chain Excellence Awards for its specialised bridal returns initiative alongside retailer ASOS.

The awards ceremony took place on the 14th November at London’s Park Lane Hilton Hotel, and saw Clipper continue with the success they’ve achieved at the awards in previous years. The award-winning project saw Clipper and ASOS work closely, pooling their respective experience and expertise in reverse logistics, garment handling and tailored compliance measures.

Clipper’s Chief Executive, Tony Mannix said: “We’re thrilled to have won the Supply Chain Excellence Award for Reverse Logistics. When ASOS launched their own bridal range, they came to us to help them create and implement a tailored reverse logistics process. Over the years, Clipper has gained a reputation for our innovative and expert logistics solutions, and what we have enabled leading retailers to achieve.”

“This win is another demonstration of how we’re using our experience and expertise to lead the industry, creating bespoke solutions to tackle the obstacles faced by retailers in a fast-paced sector. It’s fantastic to have our hard work recognised, and our innovations celebrated, and we’re excited about continuing this in the future.”

Clipper worked alongside ASOS to develop a process of best practice, perfectly tailored to their bridal range. This involved creating a climate-controlled facility especially for the optimum handling of delicate high-value garments, where comprehensive repair and compliance procedures could be carried out.
