Leading high value retail logistics specialist Clipper has secured a new contract with DIY brand Ronseal. The multi-year contract will see Clipper provide seasonal warehousing solutions for Ronseal to cater for their growing business needs.

Clipper will store over 5000 pallets of seasonal product for Ronseal in periods before their trading peaks, to allow them to build up their inventory.

Kevin Hall, Production Planning Manager at Ronseal, commented: “We needed a logistics partner to help us manage the seasonal upturn in our sales during the spring and summer periods, particularly a provider that has experience in fast moving warehousing solutions. Clipper is ideally placed to provide us with this service – in terms of expertise and location – and I’m pleased that we will be working with them over the coming years.”

In addition to the seasonal storage solution, Clipper will also be transporting stock from Ronseal’s South Yorkshire factory to their Hellaby DC.
