CLIPPER LOGISTICS GROUP CREATES NEW ONLINE CLOTHING SOLUTION FOR JOHN LEWIS

Leading high value & retail logistics specialists Clipper Logistics has created a new online clothing fulfilment operation for  John Lewis. Clipper is providing the e-fulfillment solution for the retailer from its 500k sqft facility in Ollerton, near Newark.

The operation utilises the tried and tested Clipper Logistics e-fulfilment solution at its heart, but this has been further developed to meet the requirements of John Lewis’s online clothing business. 

By working in close partnership with John Lewis, the Clipper team have produced a robust operational model to handle the current and further growth planned by the retailer for its online clothing offer.

Sean Fahey, Clipper’s Project & IT Director, commented: “We worked with John Lewis to develop the e-fulfilment solution and have then made it an operational reality in a relatively short timescale. Our policy of continuous solution refinement will further enhance the service offering for the John Lewis customer base in the future”.
